JDU-RJD are together in Bihar sans any faith on Nitish vis-a-vis Tejashwi!

New Delhi: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has given a limit till 2025 to his ally Rashtriya Janata Dal and said that Tejashwi Yadav will lead the Grand Alliance in the 2025 elections. But Tejashwi’s party does not have to wait till that time, rather his party is not ready to wait even till the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. An informed RJD leader has claimed that the party is feeling that Nitish will take his revenge on the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and then side with the BJP again. Many RJD leaders believe that Nitish has made RJD a weapon against the BJP to avenge the 2020 assembly elections.

Keep in mind that in the 2020 assembly elections, Chirag Paswan of Lok Janshakti Party fielded his candidates against all the candidates of Nitish’s party. He had the indirect support of the BJP. Chirag’s candidates defeated JDU candidates on more than 30 seats, reducing Nitish’s party to 43 seats. Thus, Nitish Kumar wants to take revenge from BJP and can do this work only by taking RJD and Congress together. If the grand alliance of these three parties fights together, then BJP can suffer a major loss. RJD is feeling that JDU’s only aim is to reduce BJP’s majority by making it lose some seats in the Lok Sabha elections. After that, JDU can go with BJP on its own terms. That’s why pressure is being created from RJD that Tejashwi should be made the Chief Minister even before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
