Janta Darshan: Yogi assures aspirants of far-reaching benefits of Agniveer scheme

Lucknow: The anguish of the aspirants of Indian army also sounded in Janta Darshan of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath here on Monday.

Around one dozen aspirants for the recruitment in armed forces appeared before the Chief Minister to share their pain and express their displeasure over the Agniveer scheme of the government.

CM Yogi Adityanath convinced them and tried to pacify their anger. He said the Agniveer scheme is a job opportunity for them and reaching out to the angry youth he said government has announced many concession including 10 percent job quota for Agniveer in paramilitary forces. He appealed to the youth to be careful as some trouble makers are making them a tool for their vested interests.

Meanwhile the police launched an operation in Pipiganj and Campierganj area and they have identified 300 trouble makers and 84 spots where these aspirants used to come for regular exercise.

On one hand police forces are convincing the youth and on other hand they have launched crack down operation against trouble makers, the protestors said. Four alleged rioters have been arrested so far.
