Jaipur colleges who paid bribe to RTU VC on the radar of ACB

Jaipur: In case related to arrest of RTU VC Ram Avatar Gupta while taking Rs 5 lakh bribe, ACB investigators have come to know about some Jaipurbased colleges who paid bribe to him.

There is information of Rs 10 lakh by Arya Engineering College, Rs 7 lakh by Poddar Engineering College, Rs 3 lakh by Tirupati Engineering College.

The accused VC was staying in guest house for 4 days and ACB recovered Rs 21 lakh in cash from guest house after his arrest. The bribe was sought in lieu of increasing the seats in colleges and not finding out shortcomings by doing any sudden inspection.
