Mumbai (Maharashtra): Jacqueline Fernandez has resumed work after getting bail in the Sukesh Chandrashekhar money laundering case. The actor has now appeared again in front of the Patiala High Court on December 12. The court will reportedly hear the arguments on the point of charge of the case. The actress reached the court around 10 AM along with her lawyers Prashant Patil and Shakti Pandey.

The prosecution presented their arguments in front of the court today. The court had adjourned on November 24 for a hearing on December 12 after the prosecution asked for time to prepare for the arguments on the point of charge. The Kick actress was granted bail on the grounds that she was not arrested during the investigation. She was granted relief on a personal bond of Rs 2 lakhs by Special Judge Shailendra Malik on the conditions that she will not leave the country without prior permission from the court and will participate in the investigation as and when asked by the ED.

Jacqueline Fernandez was named suspect in the Sukesh Chandrashekhar money laundering case where it was argued that the actress gained benefits from the conman through the laundered money. While prosecution denied the actress being aware of Chandrashekhar's affairs, it was proven in court that Jacqueline kept in touch with the conman even after he was in jail. Sukesh Chandrashekhar gifted the actress goods worth 5 crores and ranged from expensive cats to jewellery.
