Is Deepika Padukone a part of the ensemble cast of Brahmastra Part One?

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Brahmastra is one of the biggest films to be made in Bollywood and ever since the trailer dropped, fans have been going gaga over it. Many have also started coming up with theories and are trying to search for details in the trailer video. Several speculations are rife on the internet about who else other than the main cast is a part of the trilogy. Previous rumours stated that Shah Rukh Khan too will make a cameo appearance in the film and now fans are suggesting the presence of Deepika Padukone in the trailer.

Netizens theorize that the woman who is shown in a red saree representing the power of water is none other than Deepika. A scene from the trailer exhibits a woman with blue energy emanating through her hands walking towards the camera while water rises behind her. However, her face is unclear as it is a wide shot and she is nothing but a small figure in the background.

One fan wrote, “It looks like Deepika in the Brahmastra trailer” while another tweeted, “I knew it was Deepika in Brahmastra”. Another wrote, “According to rumors Deepika will be a cameo in Brahmastra. Wo starting me Jal Devi ka shot tha, acc to rumors its her. I am crying rn. Please join me.”

Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is an Ayan Mukerji directorial starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni. The film is slated to be released on September 9, 2022.
