INDORE TOUCHES THE 7TH SKY!
New Delhi: Indore bagged cleanest city of India title for 7th year in a row while Surat emerged joint winner for top rank for the first time in the latest Swachh Survekshan results. This time, there were no second rank, only two first ranks. The Diamond City has been securing the 2nd cleanest city rank since 2020. As per the Swachh Survekshan results for 2023 released by President Droupadi Murmu, Saswad in Maharashtra got the cleanest city award among all cities with less than one lakh population. The government claims it to be world’s largest urban cleanliness survey.
