Indian Army eliminates 3 terrorists in Akhnoor operation, seizes war-like stores

Akhnoor: In their ongoing counter-offensive operation Asan, the Indian Army's White Knight Corps successfully eliminated three terrorists during an intense firefight in the Akhnoor region of Jammu and Kashmir.
The White Knight Corps, in their official statement, said, "After round-the-clock surveillance throughout the night, an intense firefight unfolded this morning, resulting in a significant victory for our forces."
"Relentless operations and tactical excellence have led to the elimination of three terrorists," they added. Additionally, the operation resulted in the recovery of war-like stores, which is crucial for maintaining security in the region, according to Army officials.
Unfortunately, earlier in the day, the Indian Army's Malinois dog, Phantom, lost its life in the operation after terrorists fired upon an Army convoy near Asan in the Sunderbani Sector.
The canine, a Belgian Malinois, was born on May 25, 2020, and was posted in the force on August 12, 2022. The Indian Army's White Knight Corps remembered Phantom's contribution, stating that his "courage, loyalty, and dedication" will never be forgotten.
They took to their X handle, and said, "We salute the supreme sacrifice of our true hero--a valiant Indian Army Dog, Phantom."
"As our troops were closing in on the trapped terrorists, Phantom drew enemy fire, sustaining fatal injuries. His courage, loyalty, and dedication will never be forgotten. In the ongoing operation, one terrorist has been neutralised, and warlike stores have been recovered thus far," the post added.
On October 28 an Indian Army vehicle was attacked in the Battal area of Akhnoor. The Jammu and Kashmir police indicated that three terrorists were spotted near Asan Mandir in Battal, where they fired at an Army ambulance. The area was cordoned off, and a joint search operation was launched by the J&K police and security forces.
The White Knight Corps, in a prior statement, said, "Terrorists fired upon a convoy near Asan, Sunderbani Sector, targeting Army vehicles in the morning. Swift retaliation by our troops ensured foiling of the attempt, ensuring no injuries."
