IAS officer Pratibha Singh to join UP bureaucracy

Lucknow: IAS officer Pratibha Singh will join the Uttar Pradesh bureaucracy. She has been allotted TG-2020 and is currently posted as trainee officer in Telangana. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given an NoC for her to come to UP. Singh got married this year to IPS officer Aditya Langeh of Uttar Pradesh Carder 2016 batch. He is from Jammu and Kashmir. Presently, he is the SP of Amroha. Earlier, he has done a good job as DCP in Varanasi Police Commissionerate. He is known for his honesty and hard work. Singh had applied for UP carde after her marriage. The DoPT will soon issue a notification for her carde change.

In the bureaucracy of UP, in the 2020 batch, a total of 16 IAS officers came from the Centre and are posted as Joint Magistrate in different districts of the state. IAS Nidhi Bansal Joint Magistrate Jhansi married her to IAS Abhishek Kumar 2020 of Tripura Carder of her batch. Last month, DoPT changed Kumar’s posting from Tripura to Uttar Pradesh on grounds of marriage. He has been made Joint Magistrate Jalaun. Sources said that by the end of this year, Singh will come to UP. The number of IAS officers in the list will increase from 16 to 18. In the coming days, this number may increase further on grounds of marriage.
