IAS Jai Shankar appointed as VC of Sushant Univ

Lucknow: IAS Jaishankar Mishra, a retired bureaucrat from Uttar Pradesh’s bureaucracy, has been appointed as the new Chancellor of Gurgaon’s Sushant University. In this university that is more than three decades old, the chancellor has been selected by a well-known academician and a search committee of enterprises. Former bureaucrat Jai Shankar Mishra has been a 1980 batch IAS of Uttar Pradesh cadre and has served as collector of many districts of Uttar Pradesh, rising to the ranks of secretary and principal secretary, handling several departments. He has written more than 15 books in Hindi and English. His son Abhishek Mishra has also been a minister in the Samajwadi Party government. Jaishankar Mishra has been considered a very friendly and cheerful officer !!
