I-T raids on 23 locations of Udaipur Golden Transport & Logistics Pvt Ltd
Jaipur/Udaipur: The Income Tax department conducted raids at 23 locations linked to a transport company in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra. The raids were carried out on the premises of Teekam Singh Rao’s Udaipur Golden Transport and Logistics Pvt. Ltd, which is allegedly involved in the illegal transportation of goods. Based on intelligence input, the department’s investigation wing initiated raids in multiple locations including Ahmedabad, Vapi, Mumbai, Banswara, Jaipur and Udaipur on Thursday.
In Jaipur, raids were carried out at the company’s office in Vishwakarma Industrial Area.The IT sleuths have recovered some documents pertaining to tax evasion and investment. The raids were conducted on instruction of Renu Amitabh, DG of Income Tax (Investigation), Rajasthan under the supervision of Avadhesh Kumar, Principal Director of Investigation.
