Hrithik Roshan applauds Sonali Bendre for comeback with OTT debut

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Hrithik Roshan has proved that he is the ultimate friend as he cheers Sonali Bendre for her upcoming OTT debut. The actor took to social media to post a story of the trailer of the series while applauding his friend. He wrote, “Woah Sonz!! Looking Amazing!!” He further added, “She’s back!! 🔥”.

Hrithik and Sonali became close friends through his ex-wife Sussane Khan. The two women are known to be really close to each other and Sonali had also applauded her for staying by her side while Sonali battled cancer. Hrithik even visited the actress while she was battling cancer. Sonali had stayed away from the limelight for a long time after she was diagnosed with metastatic cancer in 2018. She became cancer-free later that year but chose to stay away from the limelight.

The actress has now made a comeback in the entertainment world with her OTT debut ‘The Broken News’. She will star alongside Shriya Pilgaonkar and Jaideep Ahlawat. The series will release on the Zee5 platform on June 10^th. The Sarfarosh actress will be seen portraying the role of Amina Qureshi, a leading journalist and will follow her struggle to choose truth over sensational. It is the Hindi adaptation of the popular British show 'Press'.
