"His whole family will not even win single seat": Bihar Dy CM Sinha slams Tejashwi Yadav

Patna: Hitting out at Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav's remark that BJP's 400-paar has failed on the first day of the election, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha has said that his whole family will not even win a single seat.
"His (Tejashwi Yadav) whole family will not even win a single seat. The people of Bihar will not let the looters of Bihar go to Delhi and loot the nation. The whole country knows how many votes Rahul Gandhi will be able to get in other constituencies after leaving his constituency. The people of Bihar are determined to make Bihar developed," he said.
BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad also slammed Tejashwi and said that he made similar claims in 2014 and 2019 also.
"They were making these claims in 2014 and 2019 also. BJP will have a decisive and historic victory in Bihar. I would like to say with such confidence that we will cross 400 in the country. Bihar also wants Narendra Modi because he is the leader of the poor and backward people. Every section of the country has seen what work his government has done. This is a conflict between ground reality and fake promises, nepotism and those who respect everyone," he said.
Earlier today, after the completion of the first phase of the Lok Sabha election, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday took a dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party and said that the BJP's "400 paar" film has become a super flop on the first day itself.
Tejashwi Yadav told ANI that there is no competition in the first phase as Bihar will give shocking results this time.
"The Mahagathbandhan is winning all four seats in the first phase. We have held block wise meetings and the feedback that has come is very good the BJP's "400 paar" film has become a super flop on the first day itself. The people of Bihar are aware and will teach them a lesson," he said.
In Phase 1, voting on four seats- Jamui, Nawada, Gaya, and Aurangabad concluded on Friday.
The state will witness polling on five seats from Phase 2 to Phase 5. In Phases 6 and 7, elections will be held for eight seats each.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the NDA, composed of the BJP, JD(U) (Janata Dal-United), and LJP (Lok Janshakti Party), secured victory by winning 39 out of 40 seats.
While the Mahagathbandhan, led by RJD Rashtriya Janata Dal), INC (Indian National Congress), and RLSP (Radhtriya Lok Samta Party), only managed to win one seat.
