Hindus are ‘Karta-Dharta’ of nation: Bhagwat

Alwar: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma reached Alwar on Monday and met with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat, who is on a four-day visit at RSS office. This brief meeting is being considered significant. After returning from Ahmedabad, the Chief Minister went directly from Jaipur Airport to the Alwar helipad and then to the RSS office. Meanwhile, speaking at a gathering of RSS volunteers in Alwar’s Indira Gandhi stadium, Bhagwat said that the nation has to be strengthened. Articulating the essence of Hinduism as a universal, human-centric religion that prioritizes the welfare of all, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat has said that the Hindu society is the ‘Karta-Dharta’ of the country.

“We have said in the prayer itself that this is a Hindu nation because Hindu society is responsible for this. If something good happens to this nation, then the glory of Hindu society increases,” he said. He explained that what is commonly referred to as the Hindu religion is, in essence, a universal human religion. “It embodies a global ethos focused on the well-being of everyone. To be Hindu means to be the most generous person in the world, one who embraces all, holds goodwill towards all, and descends from noble ancestors,” RSS chief said.

Bhagwat called on RSS volunteers to embody and promote five key principles: social harmony, environmental stewardship, family values, self-awareness and civic discipline. He emphasized that adopting these principles in daily life would inspire society to follow suit.
