Heatwave breaks as rainfall brings relief to the State

Jaipur: In Rajasthan, the heat has intensified. On Tuesday, the mercury soared above 40 degrees Celsius in the districts of western Rajasthan. Meanwhile, late on Tuesday evening, after a change in weather, there was thunder and lightning accompanied by rain in the border areas of Bikaner and Sri Ganganagar districts and in Hanumangarh, bringing relief from the heat to the people there. This phase of clouds and rain continued into the morning as well.

According to meteorologists at Jaipur, similar changes may be witnessed in the state in the next two days. On March 28 and 29, there could be clouds and rainfall accompanied by hailstorms in the districts of the Bikaner region. Clouds persisted in Sri Ganganagar and Hanumangarh, with rain occurring at several places along with strong winds. Additionally, clouds also covered areas in Jhunjhunu district bordering Haryana. Prior to this, on Tuesday there was intense heat in the state. The hottest day was in Phalodi, where the maximum temperature recorded was 41.2 degrees Celsius. This is the first time this season that such a high temperature has been recorded in any place.
