Has Munawar Faruqui confirmed his relationship right after winning Lock Upp?
Mumbai (Maharashtra): Munawar Faruqui has hit the headlines again, but this time, for the right reasons. The comedian emerged as the winning player in the first season of the reality show Lock Upp. He shared some videos on Instagram stories where he was shown celebrating his win at his homeplace, Dongri. He could be seen waving his trophy from the rooftop of a BMW while a swarm of fans had gathered around, cheering him on. But what catches the eyes is not the series of videos on his Instagram, but a picture he posted amid them.
Munawar posted a picture of him hugging a girl from the back while she clicks their photo in a mirror. The mirror selfie was paired with Diljit Dosanjh’s hit number ‘Tera Ni Main Lover’. However, the face of the girl was not visible as it was hidden behind the camera and a heart that he posted covered their faces.
First India had previously reported on April 9, hinting at the possibility of Munawar being in a relationship outside the jail. The comedian at many times hinted that flirting with the inmates may cause trouble for him outside of Lock Upp. Even Saisha who revealed him to be her crush had refused to mention that he was single.
This comes as a shock to all the Lock Upp fans who shipped Munawar with his fellow inmate Anjali Arora. Anjali had even confessed her love for him on the show which was blatantly refused by the comedian. But there were some hopes for the fans that the duo would unite outside the show. But his latest story has now crushed the dreams of every #Munjali shipper.
The comedian was seen with his mystery woman at the recent success bash of the show. The selfie seems to be from the same night as they both were wearing the exact outfit. According to a report by NavBharat Times, the girl is a YouTube content creator with the username Nazilx, however nothing more has been divulged about her.
