‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ drive will unify nation: Raje

Hyderabad: With an eye on the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, the BJP on Saturday announced a host of new activities, including ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme to unify people and a reach out to beneficiaries of government schemes.

The decision to step up its outreach activities and strengthen the organisation at the booth level was taken at the BJP’s office-bearers meeting here before the start of its National Executive Meeting.

BJP’s Vice- President and former CM Vasundhara Raje said while addressing a press briefing in Hyderabad said the new organisational activities including ‘Har Ghar tiranga’ (Tri-colour at every home) exercise to reach 20 crore people will unify the country. Describing booth workers as the foundation of BJP, Raje said the party has decided to have 200 active workers at every polling booth, have Whatsapp groups of booth-level workers and make ‘Panna Pramukhs’ more organised.

The party’s organisational and outreach activities will be reviewed at the booth level on a weekly basis, she added.

Vasundhara Raje further added that the party will reach out to 30 crore beneficiaries of various government schemes under drive.
