GST revenue grows 11.25% in November
Jaipur: The Commercial Taxes Department has achieved record revenue collection. In November, the total revenue collected amounted to Rs 6,092 crore, including Rs 2,160 crore from VAT and Rs 3,932 crore under GST. Prakash Raj Purohit, Chief Commissioner of SGST, said, “November witnessed the highest GST collection in the financial year.” He said that the state recorded an 11.25% growth in GST revenue during November. Previously, GST revenue stood at Rs 3,840 crore in April and Rs 3,832 crore in October. As of November 24, the department has collected a total GST revenue of Rs 27,748 crore, compared to Rs 24,941 crore collected by November 23 last year.
