GOVT MAY DECLARE JAIPUR AS LEOPARD CAPITAL OF THE WORLD

Jaipur: Jaipur is setting a unique example in the world of harmony between humans and wildlife. Human population of about 65 lakhs and more than 100 wild leopards are now becoming the identity of Jaipur. This is the reason that the state government may soon declare Jaipur as the Leopard Capital of the World. IUCN Chairman and International President of World Wilderness Congress Vance Martin has also advocated declaring Jaipur as Leopard Capital of the World. There are more than 90 percent chances of leopard sighting in Jhalana Leopard Reserve. There are more than 45 leopards in Jhalana Leopard Reserve and more than 20 leopards in Amagarh Reserve
