GOVT ACCEPTS RESIGNATION OF UP IAS VIDYA BHUSHAN

Lucknow: UP’s famous IAS officer Vidya Bhushan’s resignation has been accepted by the government.

Bhushan’s wife and IPS officer Alankrita Singh is already under suspension for going to foreign without permission.
2008-batch officer Vidya Bhushan is originally from Bihar. He has been the DM of Amethi, Pratapgarh, Etawah.

IAS Vidya Bhushan, while being MD PVVNL in Varanasi, had sent his resignation to department. He has resigned on medical ground.

Before the resignation of Bhushan, the government had also approved the VRS application of IAS Juthika Patankar and IAS Renuka Kumar.

Officers in the bureaucracy say that Vidya Bhushan is considered to be a very good and hardworking officer.
He says that his wife IPS Alankrita Singh had gone on foreign study leave but she was suspended and leave application was not accepted which made Vidya Bhushan sad.
