Free press is biggest strength of democracy: Guv Kalraj Mishra

Jaipur: Governor and Chancellor Kalraj Mishra has said that a free and vibrant press is the biggest strength of democracy. He said that in this era of artificial intelligence, the university should act as a foundation for the healthy values of journalism with the help of language experts and scholars with deep knowledge of word sensitivity.

Mishra addressed the second convocation of Haridev Joshi Journalism and Mass Communication University on Saturday. He also inaugurated the newly constructed main building of the university online and congratulated for it. He said that under journalism education, such courses should be prepared in light of new education policy, which can make the new generation sensitive, alert and better citizens of future by accepting challenges of the era.
