Four held with foreign gold worth Rs 1.80 crore

Jaipur: In a major action by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), 2 kg 400 grams of foreign gold was seized. The value of the seized gold is being reported to be Rs 1.80 crore. Information regarding the gold was received through sources who informed that foreign origin gold was coming to Jaipur via train. The rail passenger carrying the gold was caught in Jaipur and another passenger sitting in the train was caught in Kolkata. The gold was being smuggled in small pieces near the waist belt. The person who took the delivery of gold and mastermind are also in custody of the DRI. This gold was being smuggled from Bangladesh. All the four accused were produced in the court on Wednesday and the court sent them to 14 days judicial custody.
