For how long will BJP save RPS?

New Delhi: Former Union Minister and former National President of Janata Dal-U, Ramchandra Prasad Singh i.e. RCP Singh is in trouble. When his own party accused him of corruption, he resigned from the party. RCP not only resigned from the party but also launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He even said that Nitish Kumar cannot become the Prime Minister in this life. On the other hand, JD(U) leaders say that RCP should stop dreaming of becoming CM.

It is a political fight that RCP, once closest to Nitish, would stop him from becoming the PM, & Nitish’s party should stop the RCP from becoming CM. But this may be a fight at a later stage, but right now it is a battle of corruption charges. JDU has alleged that in nine years, RCP has bought 58 plots of land in the name of his wife and both daughters. He owns 40 bighas of land in only two blocks - Asthawan and Islampur, which were registered between 2013 and 2022. The party is asking him from where did he get so much money. Right now the party is asking, but soon the Economic Offenses Wing or the Anti-Corruption Bureau will ask him the same question. RCP can now defer the questions asked by the party’s state president Umesh Kushwaha by sending a letter because now he has resigned from the party, but if the state government agencies and the police inquire, it will be difficult for him to postpone the answer.
