First India Filmy: Pratik Sehajpal, Shipra Goyal and Kunaal Vermaa become emotionally honest as they talk about their latest hit song ‘Subah Se Shaam’

Pratik Sehajpal is a fan favourite among young social media users and whatever he stars in, is sure to viral everywhere. Th equation of a good love ballad, a melodious voice and beautiful lyrics with a dash of a romantic Pratik always works wonders. Which is why Subah Se Shaam, his latest music video I making headlines for being viral all around. Talking to Ashish Tiwari from First India Filmy, the trio of actor Pratik Sehajpal, singer Shipra Goyal and lyricist Kunaal Vermaa opened up about their experience working together along with some insights into their individual careers and lives.

Pratik spoke about the concept of the video and how he wished to deliver something that world make fans love him even more. “There was a pressure of whether I would eel the right kind of emotions at the right time and sometimes people do zone out from those emotion. I was just praying that should not happen with me. That was all that I wanted and thankfully I was able to portray it”, the actor said. He further divulged the secret behind choosing heart breaking melodies, saying, “I have this theory that there are many who laugh with you. But only a few sit and share their tears with you. Those are the real people who appreciate you.”

Talking about her wonderful screen presence, Shipra opened up, “There was a time when I weighed 75 kgs and only did playback singing. When I sang Ishq Bulava, I was overweight. But I have groomed myself the way I wanted myself to be and which is why I have gained the confidence to stand in front of the screen.”

She further added “But I am a big foodie. I do not shy away from eating and everyone knows that.”

Kunal spoke about penning the lyrics for the song, stating, “I am thankful that the song was complete before the cast was confirmed. Because if I had known that I am supposed to write for such an ensemble cast, then I would have felt the pressure to do my best.”
