First Budget session of NDA government in Andhra Pradesh commences

Amaravati: The first Budget session of the newly formed NDA government in Andhra Pradesh commenced on Monday.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party Chief N Chandrababu Naidu came to the State Legislative Assembly for the Assembly session.
Meanwhile, YSRCP MLCs gathered at the Assembly wearing black scarves to protest against the alleged atrocities in the state, ahead of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly session. Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy also came to the Assembly for the budget session.
YSRCP MLC Yesurathanam stated that they will highlight the atrocities happening in the state in the council on Monday.
YSRCP MLC Ruhulla added that after the TDP came into power, atrocities have increased. Rululla said that they will be highlighting these atrocities in the Legislative Council.
The MLCs plan to take the agitation to Delhi and meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu to submit a representation of the atrocities in the state. The YSRCP MLAs will also be highlighting the atrocities in the Assembly.
"Instead of focusing on implementing Super Six, they are attacking the innocent people. This is a bad tradition. We will highlight all these atrocities in the assembly session," Ruhulla said.
Earlier on Sunday, Jagan Reddy met Governor S Abdul Nazeer at Raj Bhavan in Vijayawada, alleging that the law and order situation was deteriorating in Andhra Pradesh and requested an investigation by the central government agencies into the atrocities by the TDP government.
During the discussion with the governor, the YSRCP president said, "Constitutional institutions have failed in the state, and the administration has been paralysed. There is no protection to life or dignity of the people. Leaders and workers of the ruling party, with their barbaric and inhumane activities, are spreading widespread fear among the people of the state."
He said that after coming to power, the TDP-led coalition government immediately targeted those who didn't support them in the recently concluded elections.
