FIR registered after Salman Khan and father Salim Khan receive death threat letter

Mumbai (Maharashtra): After the gruesome death of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, it had come to light that the prime accused Lawrence Bishnoi had previously threatened to murder Bollywood star Salman Khan as well. Now, the actor has again come under the target of the gangster who has threatened to kill him like Sidhu Moose Wala. The Mumbai Police had increased Salman’s security a while ago as they suspected the moves of Bishnoi’s gang in Rajasthan.

Now, it has been revealed that the actor received a threat letter on Sunday. The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor returned to Mumbai from Abu Dhabi on Sunday. As per a report by ANI, Salim Khan went for his usual walk that morning and took a break at his everyday designated spot. His security found a letter left on a bench at the spot that said, “Moosa Wale jaisa kar dunga (Will make you like Moosa Wala)”.

The police are looking at the CCTV footage in the bandstand area to catch the culprit behind the threat.

Salman Khan was first threatened by Lawrence Bishnoi after the Black Buck poaching case came into the limelight. Black Bucks are considered holy by the Bishnoi community. In 2018, one of Bishnoi’s associates was even arrested for plotting the assassination of Salman Khan. Meanwhile, the actor was recently hosting the IIFA Awards 2022 along with Ritesh Deshmukh and Maniesh Paul which took place on June 3 and 4 in Abu Dhabi.
