Father rapes daughter for 3 yrs in Chittorgarh

Chittorgarh: A man has been booked under POCSO Act on charges of raping his minor daughter for three years. The victim, a class 12 student, shared her ordeal with her teacher when she could not take the torture anymore. The case has been reported at the Gangrar police station area of Chittorgarh district. Hearing the girl’s ordeal, the teachers were also shocked and approached the Child welfare committee. The committee told about it to Kailash Satyarthi Child Foundation, Chittorgarh who reached the spot and counseled the victim after which a case was filed at the police station. The Gangrar police filed a case under the POCSO Act and started an investigation. The police are also questioning the father of the minor girl, while the student has been taken to the Child Welfare Committee.
