Fans go berserk over the trailer of Mani Ratnam's magnum opus 'PS-1'

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Mani Ratnam has been working on his two-part magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan for the longest time. His vision has finally been presented on the screen most beautifully with a huge star cast. Right from Chiyaan Vikram to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the film is sure to give everyone else a run for their money. The cast and crew of the film came together on September 6 to release the trailer of the much-awaited historical drama. As soon as the trailers were released in five different languages, everyone showered their excitement and love.

The film is based on the book written by Kalki Krishnamurthy and revolves around the power dynamics between different kings to sit on the throne of the mighty Chola dynasty. Led by Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj and more. As soon as the trailer dropped on YouTube, it was met with a lot of applause and praise from fans and viewers who called the film “A work of art”.
