Famous neurologist Dr Ashok Panagariya passes away, last rites to be held today

Renowned neurologist and medical researcher Dr Ashok Panagariya passed away today due to post-covid complications. Dr Ashok Panagariya's last rites will be performed today.

Dr Pangariya was an Indian Neurologist and medical researcher and was the recipient of the prestigious Dr B. C. Roy Award, the highest Indian award in the medical category.

He was also awarded the fourth highest Indian civilian award of Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2014.

Dr Panagariya has been the first VC of Rajasthan University of Health Sciences. Apart from this, Dr Panagariya has also been a member of the Planning Board of the Government of Rajasthan.

Senior Congress leader Rajiv Arora, Transport Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla, PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasara, and West Bengal Governor Dr Jagdeep, and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot expressed grief over Pangariya’s death.
