DY CM HOLDS REVIEW MEETING FOR DHARAVI PROJECT

Mumbai: The Dharavi Redevelopment Project (DRP)—which was shelved by the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in October 2020—is back on the drawing board of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. On Tuesday, Fadnavis conducted a one-on-one review meeting about the impending project with IAS officer SVR Srinivas, Metropolitan Commissioner, Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) at the Mantralaya. The Dy CM assured that he will follow up with the Centre to get railway land required for the project. Prior to his appointment in MMRDA, Srinivas was heading the special purpose vehicle (SPV) set up by the Fadnavis-led government for implementing the DRP
