Dr Raghu seeks more Bisalpur water

Kekri: Gujarat Congress in-charge and Kekri MLA Dr. Raghu Sharma during his four-day visit to the constituency, inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for more than 450 development works costing about Rs 40 cr. On the last day of his tour on Wednesday, Sharma took a meeting of officials of Water Supply Department in view of crisis. “In view of summer, provision of Rs 3.5 cr has been made by State Govt under Contingency Plan & with this problem of drinking water will not be allowed in rural areas.” Sharma has also sent a proposal to CM to increase 5000 TMC drinking water under Bisalpur scheme to 7500 TMC.
