Doctors asked to return for duty at original postings by today

Jaipur: The condition of government hospitals, which were locked due to shortage of staff in the State for a long time, is going to change soon. Health Minister Parsadi Lal Meena is now in a strict mood regarding the process of ending the deputation process.

Meena told the First India that time has been given till March 24 to all the doctors running on deputation to join on the original posting else their salary will be stopped from the month of March. Along with this the process of departmental action will also start. About 2,000 to 3,000 medical personnel are on deputation in Rajasthan.

While the posts of about 10,000 medical personnel are vacant. Meena had earlier clearly declared that he would end the deputation system
