Dev Darshan Padyatra held in Jodhpur
Jodhpur: The Devasthan Department on Sunday organized a Dev Darshan Padyatra in Jodhpur. The procession started from the Gang Shyam ji temple and culminated at Ghantaghar while passing through nine major temples. The Dev Darshan Padyatra was flagged-off by Devasthan Minister Shakuntala Rawat.
“On behalf of the state government, Dev Darshan Padyatra was organized at the divisional level to make the public aware about the history of oldest temples of the city which have importance from ancient times. Earlier, the padyatra was organized in Jaipur and Udaipur and now it has been organised in Jodhpur,” said Devasthan Minister Shakuntala Rawat. “The state government has announced a budget for the development of all the temples of the Devasthan department and has also decided to make panoramas,” added the minister.
