Demolition cost to be recovered from accused

Jaipur: JDA has given another notice to Bhupendra Saran, the mastermind behind the senior teacher recruitment paper leak case for recovery of amount spent on the demolition of illegal construction at his house.

Apart from Saran, the JDA has also sent a notice to Anil Agrawal, the owner of the building in which the accused of the paper leak were running a coaching center. Both of them have been given the bill of Rs 28 lakh for the resources used for demolition, out of which Agrawal has deposited Rs 9.24 lakh in JDA. Chief Controller- Enforcement (JDA) Raghuveer Saini said there is a provision in the JDA act that if any illegal construction is removed by JDA, then the amount spent on it has to be recovered from the builder and under this provision, these notices have been issued.
