Delhi: Two, including traffic police officer, held while ferrying drugs
New Delhi: The Delhi Police Special Cell has apprehended two people, including a Delhi traffic police officer, while ferrying drugs in their car. They were caught near the Zafrabad metro station in Delhi.
According to sources, the investigation of this case is in the initial stage.
In June, a Delhi court issued a non-bailable warrant against Naresh Kumar, a sub-inspector in Delhi Police's crime branch, who was allegedly running an international narcotics cartel from the capital.
He has been on the run since January. However, police have also checked with the immigration department and have learned that so far there is no information about Kumar fleeing from India.
