Dabi raps doctors for pvt practice during duty hrs

Barmer: A team led by District Collector Tina Dabi conducted raids on physicians’ clinics following complaints that many doctors were not seeing patients at the hospital during working hours. Teams, including the SDM, DSO, UIT Secretary, and treasury officer, inspected various clinics and checked attendance register at the hospital superintendent’s office.

Dabi ordered an investigation into two doctors, one who was examining patients at a private hospital and the other at home. She warned that strict action would be taken if any doctors were found practicing outside the hospital during official hours. The initiative aims to ensure accountability and proper patient care.
