Cops attacked for arresting gangrape accused in Alwar
Alwar: Nearly a dozen policemen were injured after they were attacked by a group of people in Kishangarhbas area of Alwar district on Tuesday. The police officials had gone to arrest miscreants accused of gangrape. “As soon as we arrested the accused, nearly 50 locals attacked the policemen and started pelting stones. The cops anyhow entered into houses to save themselves. In the meanwhile, the miscreants also managed to escape from police custody. Nearly a dozen cops sustained minor injuries and a case has been against 50 to 60 people for hindering government work and voluntarily causing hurt,” police said.
