Congress notice to MLA for anti-party activities

Dungarpur: Notice has been issued to Congress MLA Ganesh Ghoghra from Dungarpur by Congress state incharge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa citing noncompliance of party instructions in Lok Sabha elections. An ultimatum has also been given that strict action would be taken against him if no response is received within seven days.

After fielding Congress candidate from Banswara Lok Sabha seat, the party agreed to support BAP. But he did not withdraw his nomination. Ghoghra did not attend any rally of the BAP candidate under the alliance. On April 24, Randhawa and state president Dotasra also held a public meeting in Kuna but Ghoghra did not reach there as well.
