CM Ashok Gehlot also addressed the media after the meeting and said, “What is the State of politics in the State? How to prepare ahead of the elections? We met today regarding this and for planning ahead. Prime Minister should apologise to the country. The freedom fighters did not get anything. What did Rahul ji say for which he should apologize? He raised all issues in Bharat Jodo Yatra. The main problem of the country today is inflation, unemployment. Congress will fight elections as one unit and form government,” he said.

Gehlot further said, “Rahul Gandhi is a dabang leader and he can fight them (BJP). Today, the gap between the rich and the poor is widening. If disaffection is not overcome, civil war may also happen,” he said.
