Cong looking to overhaul executive committee, may oust inactive party workers

Jaipur: Significant changes are imminent within the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (RPCC). A major reshuffle is on the cards, with plans to remove inactive officebearers from the executive committee.

A comprehensive list has been prepared based on the performance reports of these inactive members. The move aims to introduce young, hardworking, and new faces into the team.

The list for new appointments and reassignments will soon be sent to Delhi for approval. Sources indicate that the final list could be unveiled as early as July.

Meanwhile the executive bodies of the Pradesh Mahila Congress and the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) will soon be reconstituted. The Pradesh Mahila Congress executive committee has been defunct for the past six months due to a lack of approval from Delhi, leading to the temporary reinstatement of the old executive body. Similarly, the NSUI executive committee was dissolved last month.
