CONFIRMED! Karan Johar pranked KWK fans as today he confirms the return of his show

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Karan Johar is known for his witty humour and he never fails to prank others with it. This time, Karan Johar almost made everyone cry with despair as he had pulled a prank on Instagram. Yesterday, Karan Johar posted a note stating that his hit celebrity talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’ won’t be returning and ended the line with three dots. Right when people thought this was the end, he posted a note today completing his sentence that surprised everyone.

The filmmaker resumed from where he ended his first note, writing, “Koffee with Karan will not be returning…on TV!”. Johar who had broken several hearts yesterday relieved KWK fans with this splendid news. The director revealed that the talk show will now be streaming on an OTT platform. “I’m delighted to announce that Season 7 of Koffee with Karan will stream exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar!” he wrote.

This time, Karan revealed that the talk show which was for the most of it exclusive to only Bollywood will now be more open to celebrities all over the country who have taken India by storm in the past few years. He wrote, “The biggest movie stars from across India will return to the couch to spill the beans while drinking some koffee.” Till now, except for Freida Pinto, Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and SS Rajamouli, no other non-Bollywood film celebrity has attended the show in the past years.

The filmmaker further noted, “There will be games, there will be rumours to put rest – and there will be conversations that go deep, about love, loss and everything we’ve all been through over the last few years. Koffee with Karan ‘steaming’ soon, only on Disney+ Hotstar. Toodles!”

Fans were elated with the news with one fan recreating Kajol’s famous line from ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, “Mera pehla pyar adhoora na raha rifatbi ❤️”. Meanwhile, another fan jokingly accused Karan of disregarding their feelings. “Are my feelings a joke to u”, the user wrote.

Koffee with Karan is one of India's most-watched television talk shows, with some of the biggest celebrities opening up about their life on the show.
