Collector, SP visit spot, say agitators were outsiders
Tonk: Tonk District Collector Saumya Jha and Tonk SP Vikas Sangwan visited Samravata village on Friday. Following the slap incident and arson, accused Naresh Meena was arrested from Samravata village. Jha speaking to First India on Friday said that final assessment of the loss to the life and property in Samravata wil be completed by evening and she appealed to the people of Tonk distrit to maintain peace. She said that without any provocation, independent candidate Naresh Meena slapped the SDM. Naresh and his supporters attacked the police and administration.
She said that among the 60 accused detained in the case, over 50 are outsiders.The entire incident was carried out in a preplanned manner by outsiders. Tonk SP Vikas Sangwan said that people spreading rumous are being identified and police will strictly deal with them. He said that maxium accused arrested in this case are said to be the outsiders.
