Collect info of investors before signing MoUs: Min Vishvendra

Jaipur: The event to sign MoUs in tourism sector worth Rs 2,769 crore, that were scheduled to be signed on Tuesday, was postponed as Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh appeared dissatisfied with the functioning of the tourism director.

There was no verification of investors who were to sign MoUs as tourism director Nishant Jain prepared the list of investors and full information was not given to Vishvendra Singh and Principal Secretary Gayatri Rathore.

After all, Singh had to intervene and instructed to collect complete information of investors before MoUs are signed.

Ahead of the Rajasthan Investment Summit, scheduled on January 24 and 25, investors were expected to sign a total of 83 MoUs on Tuesday
