Children Vax: More than 7.36 lakh jabbed in two days
Jaipur: On the second day of vaccination drive, 3.68 lakh children in the age group of 15 to 18 got the Covaxin doses. In the two days, more than 7.36 lakh beneficiaries have been given doses.
“Children were vaccinated by health workers at 4603 Covid vaccination centres in the state. 15.82 per cent vaccination has been done till in 2 days.
Instructions have also been given to the concerned officers to make the adolescent girls aware of vaccination in the state,” said Health Minister Parsadi Lal Meena.
Vaibhav Galriya, Principal Secretary, Medical Department, said that apart from children, speed is also being brought about in general vaccination.
He said that till January 4, a total of 8 crore 33 lakh, 67 thousand 966 beneficiaries have been given doses of Covid vaccine in state.
