Ceremony at Khajuwala from next month

Bikaner: On the lines of Wagah border in Punjab, the western Rajasthan border will also start the Beating the Retreat ceremony in Khajuwala, a town adjacent to Pakistan border.

But there will not be soldiers from Pakistan like the Attari border. There will be only BSF jawans during the ceremony.

This would also promote border tourism in the state. The BSF battalion is stationed at Khajuwala.

Ceremony will be held on six bighas of land. The BSF DIG Pushpendra Singh Rathore is very enthusiastic about the project, which is slated to start next month.

Recently, a meeting was held with Khajuwala BDO. The ceremony will be held only on Sundays so that children also get a chance to watch it.
