Brahmastra's budget exceeds Rs 400 crores! Will the Most Expensive Bolly Film Ever perform well?

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Brahmastra is slated to release soon and although there is excitement, there is anxiety surrounding its performance at the box office. The film that took almost 10 years to make has a huge starcast which includes talented professionals from across the entertainment industry. While Ranbir, Alia and Amitabh Bachchan come from the filmy background of Hindi cinema, Nagarjuna is the pioneer of South industry. Meanwhile, Mouni Roy is one of the leading actresses of television.

But that is not the only fascinating thing about the film. With some top notch VFX and a visually appealing cinematography, the film's budget has skyrocketed to a huge number, making Brahmastra the costliest film of India. How much is the budget you say? Well, it exceeds more than Rs 400 crores, closing on to Rs 410 crores. This excludes the print and publicity costing.

Everyone knows that it is a huge number to play with and stakeholders are obviously nervous about it. However, they also have confidence in the film and know for sure that it will fare well on the big screens. "The entire team of Disney and Dharma are confident that Brahmastra will create magic not just in the hearts of people but also at the box office."

It has also been revealed that the procing strategy at the multiplexes will be equal to the budget of the film. Only time will tell how well the film will fare at the box office.

Brahmastra is ready to release in the theatres on September 9 in five different languages which includes Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malyalam and Kannada.
