Brahmastra earns more than Rs 100 crores domestically; Ranbir says they feel loved

Mumbai (Maharashtra): While many fretted about the newly released Brahmastra due to the ongoing boycott trend, the makers had confidence in the film they made. And it seems their trust in their work paid off as Brahmastra has had a sky-rocketing first weekend at the box office. The film has become the seventh Bollywood film to reach Rs 100 crore in the Hindi language in three days. The film has collected around Rs 105.50 to Rs 106.50, making it the third biggest opener in Bollywood.

If the dubbed versions of the film down South are taken into account, the estimate reaches around Rs 119 to Rs 120.50 crores. The solo estimation of the collection in the South leads up to Rs 13.,5 crores with Telugu earning the most. Taking into account the international business, then the film earned around Rs 210 crores in three days, globally. Now, the only concern that remains is its performance on Monday which would determine its further business.

Recently, Ayan Mukerji and Ranbir Kapoor visited the nearest theatre in Mumbai to check out the audience’s reaction to the film. As soon as the duo came in, fans went crazy and swarmed the two with love and appreciation. After the whole fan interaction, Ranbir came out and showered praise on Ayan while thanking everyone for the love. “Audience ka jo pyaar mil raha hai, usse bada Brahmastra kucch nahi hai. I am extremely happy and proud of this man standing here next to me. He has worked with a lot of dedication, hard work and love. And this is the best feeling. We all have come back to the cinemas. We loved seeing the emotions here. We feel loved and entertained. People are laughing and clapping. This is what cinemas are all about.”

The female lead of the film, Alia Bhatt who could not be present at the occasion, shared some pictures from the fan meeting and expressed her love. In a picture where Ranbir could be seen interacting with fans, she wrote, “Pyaar se bada koi astra nahi hota is duniya mein❤️❤️❤️❤️”.
