Blood donation is the best medical service, says Speaker Devnani

Ajmer: On Friday, Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani said that blood donation is a unique example of medical service. “It is the best among the service works. We need to increase understanding and awareness about blood donation among the common people. Blood donation has saved the lives of millions of people,” he said. Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani honored blood donors, institutions and philanthropists on World Blood Donation Day at Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital on Friday.

In the program organized on this occasion, Devnani said that blood donation is a great donation. “All healthy adults above 18 years of age should donate blood regularly. It also saves humans from many health problems. Doctors and people associated with the health world, NGOs, govt departments and other institutions should come forward to increase awareness,” he said.
