‘BJP sees no distinction between Ram and kaam’

Jaipur: Addressing the press conference at BJP State Media Centre, BJP national spokesperson Dr Sambit Patra strongly attacked the Congress government on women harassment, increasing incidents of rape, paper leaks and appeasement. On Congress calling ‘Ram’ imaginary, Dr Patra said that Ramlala’s life will be consecrated in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024, and will be the biggest festival day of Hindu faith. As per him, the BJP does not differentiate between Ram and ‘kaam’ (work), because Ram was also a well-wisher of the backward and deprived people, similarly, the BJP is also working for the upliftment of the people. He said that in the last five years, two lakh cases of women harassment and more than 35,000 cases of rape have been registered in the state, out of which 15,000 are minor rape cases.
