BJP leaders and 33 others booked over religious procession

Bhilwara: The dispute over stopping the procession of Thakurji from Kotdi Charbhuja Nath on Monday continues to intensify. Police have registered a case against 33 people, including two BJP MLAs, in the case of forcibly taking out Thakur ji ki baraat in the city.

Deputy superintendent of police, city Hansraj Berwa has registered this case in Bhima police station. With the registration of the case, anger prevailed among the BJP workers.

A delegation led by BJYM district president Kuldeep Sharma protested at the Collectorate and submitted a memorandum to Collector Ashish Modi.

Sharma said that the admin created disturbances during the procession of Charbhuja Nath, who came from Kotdi for Tulsi marriage. Kotdi town of Bhilwara will remain closed on Wednesday. This decision was taken late on Tuesday evening in a meeting of representatives of common Chokla and Sakal Samaj at Kotri Charbhuja.
