Birla inspects progress on Urban Development & Green Kota Campaign

Kota: Lok Sabha Speaker and Kota MP Om Birla reviewed the urban development works of the parliamentary constituency on Friday. Apart from the Collector-SP and Divisional Commissioner of Kota-Bundi districts, officials of all major departments were present in the review meeting.

Birla inquired about the progress of the work plans from the departmental officials, especially regarding the issues of electricity and water in the city, and also closely reviewed the medical and urban development works. Birla especially asked the various departments to run the Green Kota campaign in mutual coordination and also directed all departments to prepare a list of necessary resources.

During the meeting, Birla asked the private power company KEDL to work according to the set conditions for the power system and also expressed strong displeasure with the Water Supply Department over the delay in the preparation of DPR of Amrit Yojana - 2.
